Development of learning model is a development to gain
knowledge about models of learning, done by a certain procedure which is
systematic and is supported by a methodology which is an assessment of the
rules in his method.
Model of learning mathematics through lesson study is a
business-minded international benchmarking. Some of the development of
mathematical models of learning, for example: the concept attainment model,
model of practice learning models, models of class meetings, group
investigation model, models of learning jurisprudence, laboratory practice
models, models of social learning, self-control model, and model simulations. In
various models that were developed then indeed a teacher will always be between
two poles of mathematics learning paradigm that is between the development of
teacher-centered and student-centered.
Learning mathematics in the future will be more
student-centered learning where students are the center, students are more
active, initiative and responsible part of the learning process. Students
are also expected to be more autonomous. Thus the role of the teacher
acts as facilitator and dynamist learning mathematics.
Professional
development of teachers supported the MGMP. MGMP has a position and a very
strategic role for teacher professional development. To optimize the role of MGMP is
necessary to develop a visionary paradigm is a view that is able to renew the
old ways to prepare for the future as well as catch up. Several items of new paradigms
(vision) can be expressed MGMP that in MGMP need to be developed:
- Sense of connectivity: it is a professional organization that can become systemic liaison among stakeholders in education (mathematics).
- Sense of services: to respond and serve the professional development needs of its members.
- Sense of Innovation: that is a pioneer and implement education reform paradigm.
- Sense of mobility: the need for the development of MGMP
supported by informatics and communications technology (ICT)
