Realistic mathematics is an approach that emphasizes the construction of the context and concrete objects as a starting point for students to acquire mathematical concepts. Concrete objects and objects of the environment can be used as a context for learning mathematics in building mathematical connections through social interaction. Concrete objects manipulated by students within the framework of efforts to support students in the process mathematics concrete to the abstract. Students should be given opportunities to construct and produce a mathematical way and their own language. In accordance with these conditions, the position of teachers in this PMRI method as facilitators.

Now the question is "How the application of this PMRI can be applied to learning fractions in school?."
